The 6th China (Beijing) International Cultural and Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE) kicked off in Beijing on Wednesday ICCIE 2011, the sixth of its kind ever held in the city, has become increasingly known in the world, said Liu Binjie, Director of the General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP). The event was aimed at providing a platform for boosting international cooperation and product trading in the cultural sector, said Liu. The 5-day event was jointly held by the Ministry of Culture, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, the GAPP and the Beijing Municipal government.
