Egyptian Awqaf minister to join peace summit in Abu Dhabi

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa is to take part in the second annual Forum for Promoting Peace in Muslim Societies Conference to be held in Abu Dhabi.
At least 350 religious leaders are expected to attend the event scheduled for Sunday.
"The timing of the conference is very important as we need to boost internal peace in all Muslim communities," the minister said.
Last year, more than 250 of the world’s leading Islamic scholars attended the forum.
