Egyptian heritage draws Japan’s attention

The magnificence and mystery of Egypt’s ancient civilisation has drawn Japanese documentary makers to Aswan. A Japanese delegation in cooperation with the State Information Services (SIS) will the shoot the film over the next week. Ahmed Ali, a spokesperson from SIS stated that the Japanese film will promote tourism in Egypt. They will film some of Egypt’s oldest attractions in the city of Aswan including High Dam, Nasser Lake, Philae temples, the incomplete obelisk and tourist markets.
