Formative arts expos are the window where art lovers from which they can look at the artist\'s soul, a National Council for Culture, Arts, and Letters (NCCAL), official told KUNA on Monday.NCCAL\'s Director of the Formative Arts Department Mohammad Al-Asousi described, following the inauguration of \"Colors from East and West 2\" exhibition, the expo as a \"new tradition\" in the NCCAL events and activities, noting that it would be held annually and would include works and experiences of local artists hailing from various countries.These expos are geared towards opening bolstering cultural and artistic dialogue for local artists, which would add a new expressive influence and enrich the artistic movement in the country, added Al-Asousi.He said that about 28 artists are participating in the second version of \"Colors from East and West\" exhibition which will feature 58 works including oil paintings, charcoal drawings, wooden carvings, and metal and brass smithing.Al-Asousi added that this year\'s event will group works from various formative arts schools, noting that \"Colors from East and West\" is a true opportunity for those participants to showcase their talent.
