Iran Announces International Awards for Artworks

Iran\'s Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO) announced on Saturday that it has launched international awards, which will be given to artworks on the subject of awakening.The Awakening World Awards will be held in the fields of cartoons, poster design and photography, ICRO Director Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad said during a press conference, Tehran Times reported. The top winner of each section will receive a grand prize, which includes a golden memento and 10,000 euros in cash. In each section, the organizers also will announce four winners, each of whom will receive mementos and a 2500 euro cash prize. The artworks must focus on one of the following subjects: \"Capitalism, Wall Street\" \"Uprising of World Nations\", \"Islamic Awakening in the Contemporary World\", \"Resistance against Hegemonic System\" and \"Fighting against Despotism\".
