Iran-Russia\'s development in cultural cooperation

Deputy Head of Majlis Cultural Commission Javad Aryanmanesh and his Russian counterpart Yelna Drapkov in a meeting here called for expansion of cultural cooperation between the two countries. The two sides discussed ways of expanding cultural cooperation between Iran and Russia. Referring to importance of cultural and parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, Aryanmanesh underlined necessity of expansion of cultural commissions relations of Iran\'s Majlis (parliament) and Russian Duma. He added that development of such cooperation would pave the way for expansion of ties in other fields. Drapkov, for her part, underlined Russian positive approach toward expansion of cultural cooperation with Iran and expressed her country\'s readiness and desire in this concern. She also expressed Russian Duma\'s interest in parliamentary relations development with Iran\'s Majlis.
