Iran\'s Vice-President and Director of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization (CHHTO) Ruhollah Ahmadzadeh Kermani left Tehran to attend the 19th General Assembly meeting of the UN World Tourism Organization in South Korea.Ahmadzadeh Kermani, who is scheduled to address the UNWTO General Assembly meeting on Monday, will chair the South Asia Commission at the gathering. According to the CHHTO Office for International Affairs, the South Asia Commission is comprised of 5 experts committee attended by tourism ministers of 9 Asian countries. The UNWTO is also slated to see the 91st meeting of its Executive Council in South Korea, where new memberships and requests by several states for joining 8 experts committee will be put to discussion. Iran has requested a seat in the \'Ethics of Tourism Committee\' and another one in the \'Committee on Sustainable Development of Tourism\'. The 19th UNWTO General Assembly from 8 to 14 October in Gyeongju, South Korea will be participated by 80 tourism ministers and 550 senior executives of the world countries\' tourism sector. The Executive Council is UNWTO\'s governing body. It meets twice a year and is composed by members elected by the General Assembly in a ratio of one for every five Full Members. The 91st and 92nd sessions of the Executive Council will take place in the Republic of Korea, immediately prior and following the 19th UNWTO General Assembly.
