Kuwaiti photographer wins al-Thani Award

Kuwaiti photographer Mohammad Khorshid has won Al-Thani Photography Award in the digital category.
Khorshid told KUNA on Saturday that the 14th international contest grouped up to 600 photographers from various corners of the world.
He won the award for his shooting of a short-eared owl in Al-Jahraa natural reserve in October 2012.
Khorshid is a member of a team for monitoring and protecting birds, affiliated to Kuwait Environment Protection Society.
