Largest international team of experts to arrive for protection of Egypt heritage

An international team of experts in heritage preservation and museums will embark on a visit to Cairo within the next few hours, Egypt's Ambassador to the UNESCO Mohamed Sameh Amr said.
The team will hold talks with Egyptian government officials on ways to mobilize international support for completing the implementation of a number of outstanding cultural, archaeological and heritage conservation projects in Egypt.
Talks will address such important files as those of the Grand Egyptian Musem, the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization and the Islamic Art Museum's renovation project, he said.
