
Leisure Village located at the Exhibition Centre in Algiers opened Tuesday night to the public
The village which will last until August 30th was given by Minister of Youth Abdelkader Khomri in the presence of Ministers of Vocational Training Nourdine Bedoui, and Town Planning and Environment Dalila Boudjemaa, Public Works Abdelkader Kadi, Culture Nadia Laabidi and Minister for Craft Industry Aicha Tagabou.
The Minister of Youth said in a press briefing that the leisure and entertainment are now a "necessity" for Algerian society especially after the return of peace and stability.

After recalling the dynamic experienced by the youth sector in Algeria, he stressed that his ministry "launch similar projects in many cities (Setif, Bejaia, Oran ...), adding that there are other recreation centers which will be built with the contribution of the private sector." He further indicated that these programs "will create new jobs."
The leisure village which attracted on the first day large public, counts several spaces featuring activities of musical science, arts, sports and entertainment.
