Local high schools advance to state theater festival semis

Framingham High School and several other schools around the region have advanced to this weekend’s semifinal round of the Massachusetts High School Drama Festival. The Framingham High Drama Company will perform its entry, “The Shadow Box,” at Framingham High School this Saturday. A preview performance is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. at the high school – tickets are available at www.showtix4u.com. Other schools that have made this Saturday’s semifinals are Holliston High, which will perform “Humans” at Brockton High, and Algonquin Regional, which will perform “Almost, Maine” at the Bromfield School in Harvard.
