Muslim Wise Men Council launches peace convoy to Rome

Muslim Wise Men Council, led by Grand Imam of Al Azhar Ahmed el Tayyeb, on Thursday launched the third peace convoy to Rome.
This came within the council's efforts to send peace convoys to a number of countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and America.
In a press release, Tayyeb said the convoy's members will organize a number of meeting and activities in which they will show Islam's tolerance and coexistence and correct wrong notions concerning Islam as well as spreading peace culture among different communities.
The convoys also aim to protect youth in different countries from extremism.
