The activities of the Omani Cultural Days in Sydney Convention and Conferences Centre will conclude tomorrow (Thursday). The event is organized by Heritage and Culture Ministry in collaboration with the Omani consulate in Australia. Khalid bin Hashil al-Muslahi, Sultanate\'s ambassador to Australia said in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) that holding the Omani Cultural Days in Sydney is the most significant Omani cultural event held in Australia since the inception of the Omani-Australian relations. \"This event will take part in highlighting the cultural and civilized spheres of the Sultanate in Australia, in addition to boosting the cultural, economic and political cooperation\" al-Muslahi added. He also said that the cultural days highlight the attention given by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to the preservation of the Sultanate\'s cultural heritage and traditions. Al-Muslahi added that media has casted light on the activities of the cultural days, expressing his happiness of the achieved success and his appreciation to the Heritage and Culture Ministry for the efforts exerted in this regard to embody the history and features of the Omani culture that would contribute in reinforcing the friendly ties between the two countries. The 2500 m2 hall that is assigned to hold the Omani Cultural Days witness daily attraction to all categories of the Australian community, inaddition to the live shows that also attract a large number of visitors. The heritage and cultural exhibitions and pavilions, particularly the exhibition (Oman, History and Civilization) that includes various pavilions highlighting the Omani culture, heritage, handicrafts, historical landmarks, manuscripts, documents and costumes, as well as the folklore arts and photograph that also attract a large number of the people concerned with the Arab and Islamic culture
