Renowned Pakistani painter Mona Naqsh opened her first solo show with a collection of artworks depicting the subtlety of flowers as a subject at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Atrium on Saturday evening. The exhibition entitled When Flowers Talk, will run for five days, coinciding with Art Dubai. It features an array of 30 new paintings which showcases Naqsh\'s use of brush, pencil, pen and ink on her to create floral artworks in classical settings. \"I have been painting flowers for the past 25 years. People talk about monotony. Monotony shows the complexity of your subject. If you are switching from one subject to another, you cannot go in the in-depth detail of your subject,\" Naqsh told Gulf News. Conceived by Poetic Srokes, When Flowers Talk is the first art exhibition of a Pakistani artist in Dubai.
