
QATAR is participating in Algeria and Jordan International Competitions for Memorizing the whole Holy Quran being organized during the month of Ramadan.
Qatar is represented in Algeria's competition by the contestant Yousef Jaber Al-Tamimi , who competes in Memorizing the whole Holy Quran, while contestant Anas Hashim Al Mashhadani is represented Qatar in Jordan's competition for the whole Quran memorization contest.
Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Director of the Religious Call and Guidance Department, at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, lauded Qatari youth who have attained advanced positions in International Holy Quran Award Contests during the current year and previous years.
He stressed keenness of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs to participate in such international competitions in the Holy Quran memorization, recitation and Tajweed.
