Saif bin Zayed visits NMC Pavilion at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, today visited the National Media Council, NMC, Pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, which concludes tomorrow at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, ADNEC.
During his visit, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif was briefed on the council's activities and events, as well as the participation of NMC employees.
The NMC's participation in the exhibition is in line with the declaration of 2016 as the Year of Reading by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to adopt initiatives and programmes that promote and encourage reading within the UAE society.
