Sharjah ruler Sultan bin Muhammad al-Qasimi

Sharjah ruler Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi has praised the role played by al Azhar in correcting the image of Islam, standing against destructive concepts and extremist trends.
Al-Qasimi visited the most prestigious Sunni Muslim establishment during his current visit to Cairo.
He also praised the calls of al Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb for unifying Arabs and Muslims in face of the misconceptions of Islam.
For his part, Tayyeb lauded the UAE stands in support of Egypt and its people.
He also praised the support of Al-Qasimi in supporting Arab culture via a number of initiatives and contests.
