Saudi artist Ibrahim Al-Homr is due to hold his 6th exhibition at Jeddah Atelier, next Wednesday. Fifty exhibits on the Arabian horse will be on display in the weeklong exhibition. Al-Homr has dedicated his talent to the Arabian horse and has held five exhibitions in Riyadh, Jeddah and the United Arab Emirates. The exhibits details the Arabian horses in all aspects. It also depicts the spirit and passion of the artist and the Arabian horse. “I am totally fascinated by the Arabian horse that combines both beauty and power,” he said. The colors used by the artist are very impressive and harmonious. The Arabian horse is a breed that originated in the Arabian Peninsula. With a distinctive head and high tail carriage, the Arabian horse is one of the most easily recognizable breeds in the world. Throughout history, Arabian horses have spread around the world due to, both war and trade, and have been used to improve other breeds. Today, Arabian bloodlines are found in almost every modern breed of horses. The Arabian developed in a desert climate and was prized by the nomadic Bedouin people. The Arabian is a versatile breed. Arabians dominate the discipline of endurance riding. They are one of the top ten most popular horse breeds in the world. They are now found worldwide, including the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, continental Europe, South America especially Brazil, and its land of origin, the Middle East.
