Strengthening democratic culture in parties

"Strengthening the Constituent Elements of Democracy: Support to Political arties," is the topic of a training programme to be launched shortly for parties, the electoral committee, the civil society and the media. This one-year action will be implemented by the Institute of Press and Information Sciences (IPSI), the Arab Institute for Human Rights (AIHR) and the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) Foundation. It seeks to develop a political pluralism based on parties that promote democratic values. This project was presented, on Sunday, to several political parties that took part in a meeting held to this effect. It includes several activities, particularly the organisations of six thematic forums to promote a dialogue between political parties and civil society representatives as well as training and information seminars dedicated to political parties' cadres.
