If you have an interest in design, don\'t miss the third Abu Dhabi Art, which runs from this Wednesday until Saturday, in the Saadiyat Cultural District. This year, the boutique-style fair will include a new section devoted specifically to design, including furniture and interiors, with exhibitors and guest speakers from design galleries and studios from around the world. Other sections at the event will have work displayed by established galleries and emerging artists, plus outdoor sculptures, installations and performance art. There will also be a series of practical workshops on topics including solar printmaking and sculpture, and an Artyfacts shop selling books, objects and gifts. This year\'s event also presents a great opportunity to see the fair\'s stunning new venue, the UAE pavilion. The remarkable temporary structure inspired by the shape of shifting desert dunes, was designed by Sir Norman Foster and built for last year\'s World Expo in Shanghai. Made with 24,000 gold-coloured stainless steel pieces and 20 metres high at its peak, it was dismantled, shipped to Abu Dhabi then reassembled piece by piece earlier this year at its new permanent home on the island.
