Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Ertugrul Gunay stated that in the past five years, more than 4,000 artifacts had been brought back from world museums and collections. \"We will see it soon that our artifacts will be brought back to Turkey from England, U.S. and some other countries\", said the Minister as reported by daily Hurriyet. Gunay stated that Turkey is rich in archeological sites and said, \"we just started realising the goodness of our archaeology. Europeans and other countries were more into archaeological researches than us. We are improving and working hard in order to have the highest quality museums.\" Gunay also mentioned the Neolitic City of Catalhoyuk which was listed as a World Heritage site last week and said that they will be working hard for sending more town names to the UNESCO World Heritage list.
