Egyptian Prime Minister meets irrigation minister

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail held on Sunday a meeting with Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi and other senior officials.
The meeting was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources.
They discussed the ministry's plans to upgrade the sanitation network in the long, medium and short terms, and provide water resources to irrigate 1.5 million feddans.
Moghazi said 26 projects have been finalized at a total cost of 1.5 billion pounds.
More projects are still under construction, he said, adding that they will be inaugurated before June 2013.
