GCC secretary briefs Hadi on pro-peace efforts

Yemeni President Abdrabbou Mansour Hadi received on Thursday Abdullatif bin Rashid al Zayani, the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The GCC chief briefed Hadi on the efforts exerted by GCC member states in support of peace in Yemen in accordance with the relevant Gulf initiative, UN Security Council resolution 2216 and the recent talks in Kuwait with the parties concerned.
Within this context, Hadi praised the role of Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jaber al Sabah in support of peace in Yemen.
