PLO member meets Italian consul general

Member of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Executive Committee Hanan Ashrawi met on Wednesday with Italian Consul-General in Jerusalem David Cecile.
They discussed the latest developments at the Palestinian and regional levels as well as ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation.
Ashrawi thanked the Italian parliament for its recognition of Palestine and urged the Italian government to follow suit.
They touched on the Israeli violations and war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
Ashrawi said diplomatic and political steps will be taken to sue Israel at the International Criminal Court.
