President of Germany Meets Palestinian Counterpart

President of Germany Joachim Gauck met here on Tuesday with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, who is on a visit to Germany.
According to Palestinian news agency (WAFA), Abbas briefed his German counterpart on the political situation in Palestine, the continued Israeli occupation forces attacks on Palestinian people and the ongoing violations against the holy sites.
Coming from Moscow, Abbas arrived in Berlin on Monday for a three-day state visit to Germany.
