Saudi Minister of State for Arab Gulf Affairs Thamer Al-Sabhan has met with Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Iraq Jan Kubis.
The meeting held at the Saudi embassy in Amman, Jordan, discussed means of cooperation between the United Nations Mission in Iraq and Saudi Arabia on issues of mutual concern, reported Saudi Press Agency SPA..The two sides exchanged views and ways to enhance security and stability of the region.
Al-Sabhan stressed Saudi Arabia's keenness to help the Iraqis overcome the current challenges and support the efforts of the United Nations at all levels. The two sides agreed to continue consultations and cooperation in the coming stage.
