Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, has lauded the depth and strength of the Bahraini-Russian relations, and praised their steady growth in various fields.
He highlighted Russia’s international status and contributions to international efforts.
The governor was speaking as he received here today the Russian Ambassador to Bahrain, Vagif Garayev.
They exchanged cordial talks on the good Bahraini-Russian relations, and ways to bolster them in order to open up new horizons of joint cooperation.
The governor discussed with the ambassador ways to avail of Russia’s experience and expertise regarding the governorates’ work mechanisms.
The Russian envoy expressed readiness to transfer knowledge and strengthen cooperation, lauding the governor’s initiatives and visions on ways to push cooperation between the two friendly countries further.
