Tunisian President Meets Chief of Foreign Affairs Committee of Italian Senate

Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi met here Tuesday with Chairman of Italian Senate Foreign Affairs Committee Pier Ferdinando Casini, who is currently visiting Tunisia.
During the meeting, Casini stressed his country's determination to strengthen cooperation ties with Tunisia in order to reach a political solution in Libya via a support to the Libyan national reconciliation government in light of ensuring security and stability of the region , according to a statement issued by the Tunisian presidency.
