UAE vice president, Mohamed bin Zayed visit Al Bateen Majlis

Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday visited Al Bateen Majlis and met the audience and the population of Al Buteen Area.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed exchanged congratulations with the people on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan. They wished good health and happiness to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and further progress and welfare to the people of the UAE as well as progress and prosperity to the Arab and Islamic nations.

They also exchanged cordial talks with the Emiratis which translate love and strong bonds between the UAE citizens and their wise leadership. They also emphasised that interaction and visits are legacy gleaned from the forefathers as well as a social tradition instilled in the Emirati society. They also tackled merits of the holy month of Ramadan which enhance communication and interaction among families and friends.

Among those who accompanied them were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region, H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, a number of Sheikhs and senior officials.

Jaber Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Crown Prince's Court of Abu Dhabi briefed Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed on the objectives, facilities and divisions of Al Bateen Majlis as well as its goals aimed at spreading of cooperation and consultation and strengthening bonds among people which revive a heritage and traditions.

On their part, the people of Al Bateen expressed their happiness at the visit which reflects the legacy and noble values of the UAE society. They also hailed the UAE's cultural boom under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan A poem was recited before the audience which expressed pride by the national achievements as well as belonging spirit towards homeland and the prudent leadership.
