Yemeni Foreign Minister discusses roadmap of UN Envoy with Russian official

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Yemen, Abdul Malik Al Mekhlafi, has said that the latest roadmap presented by the envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen, Ismail Ould Cheikh, did not work towards a genuine peace.
During a meeting last night in Riyadh with Russia’s ambassador to Yemen, Vladimir Dedushkin , Al Mekhlafi stressed the importance of the UN envoy in working on a roadmap that takes into account the references and proposals made in previous peace consultations in Switzerland and Kuwait, until it succeeds and establishes a real and sustainable peace .
