Egypt, Arab region to witness Penumbral lunar eclipse Friday

A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse will be observed in Egypt and the Arab region on Friday, said head of the Astronomy and Geophysical Research Institute Hatem Ouda on Sunday.
The eclipse will start at 6:52 p.m. and reach its peak at 8:54 p.m. It will end at 10:56 p.m. after nearly four hours.
It will be the third and last eclipse for this year.
During the Penumbral lunar eclipse, the Earth's main shadow does not cover the Moon. As the Earth's shadow (umbra) misses the Moon during a Penumbral lunar eclipse, there are no other locations on Earth where the Moon appears partially or totally eclipsed during this event.
A Penumbral lunar eclipse is hard to be viewed as the shadowed part is only a little bit fainter than the rest of the Moon.
There are three kinds of lunar eclipse: Partial, total, and penumbral.
