US envoy to Syria arrives in Moscow
United States Special Envoy to Syria Michael Ratney

United States Special Envoy to Syria Michael Ratney arrived in the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow for talks on the Syrian crisis, a Sputnik reported on Friday.
Ratney, appointed to the post replacing an ambassadorial position on July 28, is expected to discuss the Syrian crisis with Mikhail Bogdanov, the presidential representative for the Middle East and Africa.
Ratney is due to travel to Saudi Arabia and Switzerland to continue talks on bringing an end to the Syrian conflict entering its fifth year now.
