Saint Catherine city was visited by 2,058 people over the past 24 hours.
In statements on Sunday, head of Saint Catherine Municipality El Sayed Abdel Sadek said the visitors included 1,702 Egyptians and 356 foreigners.
They visited Saint Catherine's Monastery, Bedouin camps, as well as many other religious and archaeological sites.
