The Dubai Department of Tourism Commerce and Marketing is participating in the Ukraine International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (UITT) from March 27 to 29, in Kiev for the seventh consecutive year. The stand, measuring 225 sq meters, showcased the emirate’s tourist attractions with the support of 16 participants in the tourism sector alongside the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs. Details about the DTCM’s participation in the three day show were announced at a pre-fair meeting held at the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. DTCM highlighted Dubai’s fast-expanding tourism industry and the importance of the tourism market of Ukraine for Dubai in attracting large numbers of tourists coming to Dubai every year, which affirmed by the number of Ukrainian hotel guests amounted to 70471 with the increase of 29% over 2011. The number of Ukrainian passengers who traveled through Dhabi International Airport reached to 269212 with the increase of 62% over 2011.
