Emergency Landing Closes Runway at Tokyo's Haneda Airport

The operators of Tokyo's Haneda Airport were forced to close a runway for more than 9 hours on Monday after a Hawaiian Airlines plane made an emergency landing, Japan's (NHK World) broadcaster reported.
Transport officials said flight 458 took off from Haneda in the early morning, bound for Honolulu. But it returned less than an hour later to make an emergency landing. 
They said an indicator on the Air Bus A330 showed a problem with the hydraulic system while flying over the Pacific. 
The aircraft's 8 tires blew out during the landing, and workers found oil leaking. 
Officials said there are no reports of injuries among the 293 passengers and crew members. 
The runway reopened on Monday, after workers replaced the tires, and removed the plane and oil. 
The runway's closure forced the cancelation of 14 flights and delays to some others.
