Oman Air has announced an increase in its Muscat-Paris services from five flights a week to nonstop daily operations from Oct. 30.
Abdulrahman Al-Busaidy, deputy CEO and chief commercial officer of Oman Air, said: “As the national carrier of Oman, we are delighted to be boosting frequencies from five per week to daily service between Muscat and Paris Charles De Gaulle.”
Oman Air started operating from Muscat to Paris in 2009. Since then, its flights grew in demand and increased from four to five frequencies per week, and now the route is operated with a daily service.
“I would like to thank our trade partners, travel agencies, sales agents and the media, who have all been incredibly supportive and contributing to this growing demand. They have fully endorsed our award-winning product and unique onboard service and hospitality that distinguish us from the rest,” Al-Busaidy said.
To develop the European market and strengthen our presence in Paris, we have focused very much on our premium product offering, developing very close relationships with a core corporate customer base. In addition, our e-commerce teams have been instrumental in ensuring that we maintain close contact with our valued customers through a range of initiatives.”
Al-Busaidy added: “We will operate a mix of 787 and 788 aircraft on the Paris route to give our passengers maximum comfort during the flight. This growing commitment is part of Oman Air’s ambitious and dynamic program of fleet and network expansion. This also includes the delivery of new aircraft and the introduction of a range of exciting new destinations and new products and services, contributing to a seamless passenger experience.”
Echoing the words of the carrier’s CEO Gregorowitsch, he said: “This means that Oman Air is in a strong position to continue its progress toward becoming a successful, sustainable company of the highest quality; in other words, to become the best.”
