
Egypt's Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou, Luxor Governor Tarek Saadeddin and South Sinai Governor Khalid Fouda arrived in London on Sunday to take part in the World Travel Market (WTM) 35th session.
They were received by Egypt's Ambassador Nasser Kamel and tourist Consultant Umaymah al-Husseini at Heathrow Airport.
The delegation is scheduled to present Egypt's tourist foundations and infrastructure projects that work to attract investment and tourism in particular.
They are also scheduled to hold meetings with tourist institutions, companies, hotels and travel agencies to restore tourist influx to Egypt to normal levels and deliver a message of reassurance to the world.
More than 50,000 global travel professionals will attend the WTM 2014, along with representatives from all travel industry sectors.
According to the WTM official site, more than £2.2 billion of travel industry deals will be generated during the event.
