Italian tourism market important to Egypt

Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou has underlined the importance of the Italian tourism market to Egypt.
Speaking at the 2014 Egypt-Italy conference Thursday, Zaazou said the event highlighted Italy's prominent role in the discovery and restoration of Pharaonic and Islamic monuments.
In November, a celebration will be held to mark the 110th anniversary of discovering the Tomb of Nefertari, which was unearthed by an Italian archaeological mission, he said.
