Jeju Air's passenger traffic tops 1m in peak summer months

Jeju Air Co., South Korea's largest budget carrier, said Wednesday that it serviced a record 1 million passengers during the peak summer months of July and August this year.
The number marks the first time ever that a local low cost carrier (LCC) has hauled that many people in the two-month period and can be seen as a testament to successful marketing carried out by the carrier that was launched in 2005.
