Trade Bank of Iraq announced that it is purchasing 2 Airbus passenger planes, from Germany at the cost exceeds $ 80 million, they are 2009 made and capable to carry 200 passengers each. The Bank\'s Chairman, Mrs. Hamdiya al-Jaff told NINA on Tuesday, Oct. 2, that a delegation from TBI has concluded the deal of purchasing 2 Airbus passenger planes at the cost of $ 86 million with capacity of 200 passengers each. She added that the planes have not been put into service since they are manufactured, and are expected to arrive in Baghdad on Thursday, Oct. 4. Mrs. Jaff went on saying that the plans to put the planes for rent to air flight companies to enable them contribute increase their transport capacity, especially during the seasons of Haj and minor pilgrimage to Mecca.
