
Algerian army forces detain rebel groups in Adrar, Algeria
Security and media sources confirmed on Thursday that Algerian army troops killed five members of a terrorist group during an operation on Wednesday
.
The troops attacked the rebels south of the Adrar on the border with Mali. Sources stated that the procedure took over three hours.
Those killed are said to be part of Tawhid and Jihad in West Africa movement.
Algerian troops seized Kalashnikov weapons and ammunition. The sources added that the armed group was attempting to smuggle into Algeria through an unguarded crossing in a truck.
