Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi
Sanaa – Ali Rabea

Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi Sanaa – Ali Rabea Yemen\'s President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi revealed on Tuesday that the country\'s national dialogue is \"moving well\" whilst calling on all political parties to be \"more responsible towards their country .\"
Hadi\'s comments come as the Southern Movement suspends its participation in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), after demanding international guarantee that matters agreed upon in sessions will definitely be implemented.
The suspension comes as a blow to the Yemeni leader as the Southern Movement represents 85 people within NDC\'s 565 members.
Individuals from the committee submitted their reports - which are currently under review - but Southern Movement\'s head, Mohammed Ali Ahmed, chose not to, instead opting to leave the group.
Meanwhile, a meeting was held in the capital Sanaa where Hadi disclosed that all reports were being read before a \"final decision was reached.\"
The president expressed his confidence in the outcome of the national dialogue, stating: “We must take the responsibility of working to achieve defined objectives to secure the stability, security and unity of Yemen and to reach a desired future for all.”
Hadi added that Yemen had unprecedented support from the international community including the United Nations and ten countries supporting the Gulf initiative. He affirmed that the \"biggest national achievement\" would be the dialogue\'s outcome \"on the basis of the Gulf initiative\" to create a new rule system of \"freedom, justice and equality.\"
The meeting also looked into ways to convince the Southern Movement to resume its participation in NDC sessions, which are scheduled to finish September 18. Elections are aimed to be held in February 2014.
