Yemeni forces achieves progress in Taiz

The forces loyal to Yemeni government achieved progress in southwest Taiz, in conjunction with violent confrontations in a number of fronts. Armed forces managed to retake control of the mountains of Al-Marikeb and Al-Mraiygha in Al-Towier area. Meanwhile, the clashes are continuing in the city of Mokha between government forces and the Houthis.

The Houthis forces take the civilians as living shields, what makes the army to deal cautiously with Houthi positions in residential areas, informed military source revealed.

The army is about to complete full control of the city of Mokha, and noting that the army targeted a number of the Houthis snipers accurately and destroyed their sites, the source added.
