Moroccan poet wins award recognising Literary Creativity

Poet Mounir el-Sarhany accepted award from Moroccan TV Channel Two Poet Mounir el-Sarhany has been recognised for his contribution to Literary Creativity. He accepted the award from Moroccan TV Channel Two. The poem submitted by Sarhany was credited with expressing a mature writing style, and praised for its eloquent language.
Sarhany was renowned for being a successful writer in Europe, before returning to Morocco to take a position as a University professor.
He adopted an unorthodox writing style early on in his career, writing in French with one hand and translating his creative works with the other hand.
Sarhany has a diploma in political literature. He is currently preparing for a doctorate degree.
