Album to be released soon

Egyptian singer Hamada Helal Cairo – Taha Hafez Egyptian singer Hamada Helal has become a movie star. Producers, directors, actors and actresses are after him. Everyone wants to work with Helal. Despite the fact that his latest movie Mr and Mrs Owez was leaked on the internet before the premiere, it remained one of the most successful movies that came out during Fitr feat season - the total revenue exceeded 2 million EGP during that time.
In his exclusive interview to Arabstoday Hamada Helal said:
\"I was upset to see my movie leaked on the Internet only hours away from being released, but I am happy to see that it was still very successful.
Leaking it online still had a negative impact on our revenues. I am grateful to those who\'d rather pay the money to go to the cinema instead of illegally downloading it.\"
\"Some singers have released their albums online in order to become well-known. This is the problem now. Internet has killed the music industry.\"
Back to the movie, he said he found the script excellent: \"I really like the script. But what I like the most about this movie is that it\'s a very well-written comedy. It was about time, because the Egyptians need to have a laugh after what they have been through.\"
He added: \"I am a singer. I prefer singing to acting. I loved acting since I was a kid, but making a movie doesn\'t mean I\'m not focusing on my music as well. I am preparing a new album and I\'m planning to introduce some of my songs in my future movies.\"
He also mentioned the late release of his album: \"I was planning to release my album before the revolution, but I decided to postpone it because of it. I was busy singing for our Egyptian revolution. When the situation became more stable, I went back to my album, and modified some of it. It\'s ready now and I am contacting the producer to decide when to release it.\"
He responded to his image of revolutionary singer: \"It’s a great honour for me. I expressed what was inside me, and I used my most powerful weapon.\"
Hamada Helal said that he was very proud when the famous Egyptian poet Ahmed Foad Negm praised him saying: \"Hamada Helal is the first revolutionary singer, no one can compete him. He is one of the young generation who made the revolution. I am very proud of his success.\"
