Brotherhood’s days are numbered

Egyptian actress, Elham Shahin Cairo – Mohammed Alloush In an interview with Arabstoday, Egyptian actress Elham Shahin predicted the Muslim Brotherhood’s days in power are numbered, despite a growing number of their supporters and the arrival of their candidate Mohamed Morsi to Presidential Seat.
Elham explained: “Their performance over the dissolution of Parliament was poor and has to be taken into consideration”.  The Egyptian star said she was a proud supporter of Ahmed Shafik “because of my full conviction of his ideas and his electoral agenda.” Elham denied reports that she was critical of the revolution and Egyptian activists, saying that the statements “are very far from truth and never happened.”
Elham Shahin has delayed all her cinema related projects for the time being and is now reading 3 new scripts, one of which she will start after Ramadan.   Her latest project, ‘Kadeyat Maali el Wazira’ (Her Excellency the Minister’s Cause) was written by Magdy Saber and directed by Rabab Hussein.
