Hani Shenouda confirms the need for more Egyptian festivals

Non - Egyptian music festivals lead the industry in the Arab world such as, Mawazine, Hala February, Jerash, Baalbeck, while Egypt, the source of art compete with them only through “Arab Music Festival”, which doesn’t have many audience. Hani Shenouda confirmed the need for more Egyptian festivals besides Arab Music festival, in order to be able to face the major ones, adding that, there are a lot of tourist and historical sites capable of hosting these festivals.

Singer Ihab Tawfik called upon the government to implement this idea, and allocates a separate budget to hold major musical festivals that can improve Egypt image, while, singer Hani Shaker confirmed that, the Musicians Union is ready to help in this matter, and singers are more than willing to participate in local festivals to help flourishing the Egyptian art.

Producer Richard Al Haj said that, a number of production companies are willing to make their singers perform in Egyptian musical festivals with no restrictions, in an attempt to activate tourism in Egypt and to confirm to everyone that, Egypt is indeed the home of safety and security.
