full of big puffy shoulders, rock n’ roll hair, black lined eyes, shoulder dusting earrings, black fabrications, beadwork, shimmer and shine, cool blues and elegant navy. Chanel’s haute couture collection was a stark move away from the vintage glamour other designers have shown, instead, Chanel offered a fresh and modern collection which is sure to set new trends for seasons to come.
The hemlines were either 1960’s short or down to the ankles. Chanel’s silhouettes for haute couture were slim with the exception of large and puffy shoulder or sleeves. The waistlines offered texture and designs which drew the eye down to hidden pockets or beaded details.
