Givenchy Les Nuances Glacées Holiday 2015 collection

For the end-of-year festivities, the French label has presented a flawless new makeup range, Givenchy's Les Nuances Glacées Holiday 2015 collection, comprised of natural tones and textures, warm and enticing.

Created by Nicolas Degennes, artistic director of Givenchy makeup, the collection pays tribute to two must-have essentials: the "Palette Glacée" and the "Rouge Glacé". The evocative name of both classic beauty products recalls the brilliantly white and frosted cases as well as the products themselves that play on contrasts. Expressing indulgence, warmth, brilliance and elegance, the new makeup collection is decidedly tempting.

An intense eye makeup with multiple highlights

For the Christmas holidays, eye makeup should be underlined with pearly warm shades applied in light strokes. To get the look, Givenchy presents the "Palette Glacée" eyeshadow set that contains six different colors including three shimmering hues that give off an intense and ultra-brilliant 3D effect.

The three pearl shades -- Marron Glacé (frosted brown), Bronze Caramélisé Précieux (caramelized bronze) and Délectation de Blanc Irisé (iridescent white) -- are paired with three matte tints: Beige Rosé (pink beige), Essence de Marron (brown essence) and Marron Praliné Onctueux (praline brown). The white eyeshadow is meant to be used as a topcoat and the pink beige a unifying coat.

Glamorous lips

For the epitome of elegance and glamour, lips are a bright, creamy red, in complete harmony with the various brown nuances of the eye makeup. The "Rouge Glacé" lipstick is highlighted by its immaculately white packaging.

XXL couture eyelashes

To enhance the eyes, Givenchy has created a frosted taupe shade (Taupe Glacé) for its Noir Couture Volume mascara that beautifully complements any shadows from the eye palette. The label also introduces a frosted brown shade (Bronze Glacé) with hints of golden highlights for its Liner Vinyl.
