Marchesa Angelic Fall 2012 collection

Red carpet collection Marchesa continued with their rarefied, couture-like visions with Fall/Winter 2012 collection which was presented during New York Fashion Week. The show featured a dreamy parade of angelic dresses destined for the red carpet. Floaty, elaborate ball gowns fashioned from laser-cut leather, tulle, lace, and feathers were brought to life with the red, black and bronze metallic colour palette.  Models floated as if on clouds down the runway, wearing decadent fitted and flared gowns and ball gowns with floral embroidered bodices.
There were some new shorter dresses Marchesa like the slim leather dress with cutouts. Along with a lush glittering gold dress with beautifully gathered hip details, many of the more formal looks were covered with white feathers either sprouting up from the dress itself or sewn onto the bodices.
Many stars attended the show like Olivia Palermo, Petra Nemcova, Stacy Keibler, Adeperi Oduye, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Taylor Momsen.
